The successful candidates must have the following qualifications:

1. Completion of a post-secondary degree such as environmental science, natural resource science, or courses with a focus on environmental management or other related discipline(s).
2. Minimum of six months’ previous professional experience related to the collection, maintenance, and manipulation of environmental data.
3. Proficient in intermediate Word, intermediate Excel, and basic PowerPoint, as demonstrated through testing (70% pass rate required).
4. Valid BC Driver's Licence - Class 5.    

Please note, there are two (2) temporary positions available. The first positions end date will be approximately November 27, 2027 or return of incumbent, the other positions end date will be approximately May 2028 or return of incumbent. The senior candidate will have their choice of end date. 

For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check.
