The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Completion of a post-secondary certificate in Horticulture, Turf, or Landscape Maintenance.
- Completion of Certified Irrigation Technician Level I course (through IIABC).
- Six months’ experience in central control irrigation systems installation, maintenance, and winterization.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence.
This is a unionized position with CUPE Local 900. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. This is a temporary, seasonal position from approximately May to November each year. Please note, this a temporary position until approximately November 2027 or return of incumbent.
